Charcoal is one of the most effective natural cleansing ingredients available. It draws impurities out of the skin, unclogs pores, and helps clear blemishes — which makes this bar excellent for anyone dealing with acne-prone or congested skin. The tallow and coconut oil base keep it deeply nourishing so it cleans without stripping.

This bar works well as a face wash, a body bar, and — something most people don’t expect — a deep-cleaning shampoo bar. I use it periodically to strip product buildup from my hair. It pulls out residue that regular shampoo leaves behind and leaves hair feeling genuinely clean. It’s not an everyday shampoo bar, but for a reset wash it’s hard to beat.

A hard, long-lasting bar

Tallow makes for a naturally hard soap that holds up well in the shower. Each bar is cured for a minimum of eight weeks before we sell it — most are cured considerably longer. The longer a lye soap cures, the harder and milder it becomes. Every bar is lye-tested to confirm that all lye has been fully converted through saponification. What you receive is pure soap — no residual lye.
