Coffee Tallow Bar Soap — Exfoliating Work Soap with Real Coffee Grounds

$7.00

This is my husband’s favorite bar in the whole lineup, and it’s easy to understand why. The Coffee Tallow Bar Soap has actual coffee grounds (From our favorite local coffee roaster) worked into it, which makes it genuinely exfoliating in a way that most soaps just aren’t. If you work with your hands — on a car, on a farm, in a kitchen — this is the bar you want by the sink.

Description

A real work soap — tough on grease, gentle on your hands.

The coffee grounds cut through grease, oil, and grime without leaving your hands feeling stripped. That’s the tallow doing its work — it’s a deeply moisturizing base that cleans without drying. The result is hands that are actually clean, not just scrubbed raw.

The scent

The Coffee bar has a light, pleasant coffee fragrance — noticeable when you bring the bar to your nose, but it doesn’t linger on your skin after rinsing. The Vanilla Latte variation has the same formula with a warm vanilla scent in place of coffee. Both are mild.

How long it lasts

This is a hard bar — tallow makes it dense and long-lasting. In the shower, expect 2–3 weeks per bar depending on use and how much moisture surrounds it. Keep it on a draining soap dish between uses and it’ll last longer. Each bar is cured for 6–8 weeks before we sell it — the longer a lye soap cures, the harder and longer-lasting it becomes.

What’s in it

  • Beef Tallow
  • Coconut oil
  • Lye (sodium hydroxide)
  • Coffee grounds (Coffee variation)
  • Coffee or vanilla fragrance

Note on lye: all properly made bar soap uses lye. Once the soap has finished curing, no lye remains in the bar — it is fully consumed in the saponification process.
