Whipped Tallow Lotion — Real Ingredient Infusions, Three Scents, Two Sizes

Description

This whipped tallow lotion is made from beef suet rendered in our own kitchen, whipped with organic castor oil until it’s light and fluffy — nothing like what you’d expect from an animal-fat product. It absorbs quickly, leaves skin velvety soft, and works for body, face, hair ends, sunburns, and dry patches. Customers with sensitive skin that reacts to conventional lotions have used it daily without issue.

What makes our scented versions different from most tallow lotions is how we scent them. We don’t use fragrance oils or essential oils for the vanilla and tea infusion varieties — we infuse the raw tallow directly with whole ingredients at low heat for 12 to 24 hours, the same way we infuse frankincense resin into our face cream.

The three scents

Vanilla — 

Real vanilla beans infused into the tallow at 120°F for 12 to 24 hours. We also scrape the vanilla caviar from the bean and fold it in just before whipping — which is why the vanilla lotion has small black specks in it. That’s the vanilla bean, not a flaw. Light, warm, natural fragrance.

Tea Infusion — 

A blend of dried pea flower, hibiscus, blueberry, and apple infused into the tallow at 120°F for 12 to 24 hours. Fresh and lightly floral — a gentle, natural scent that comes from the ingredients themselves.

Unscented — 

The same formula with no infusion. Pure tallow and organic castor oil. Ideal for sensitive skin, fragrance allergies, use on babies, or anyone who prefers their moisturizer scent-free.
